About Bridgestone Asia Pacific

Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the world's largest tyre and rubber company Bridgestone Corporation, is based in Singapore as the regional headquarters or strategic business unit of the Bridgestone Group in China and Asia Pacific region.

 

Overseeing operations of 12 sales and manufacturing companies, while producing at 13 tyre manufacturing plants and supplying its products across more than 25 countries in the region, Bridgestone Asia Pacific plays a key role in facilitating this large and growing market that contributes significantly to the entire Bridgestone Group.

 

In addition to managing the production and sales of tyres in the region, Bridgestone Asia Pacific is also committed to the development of quality tyres, each one going through stringent testing at its proving grounds in China, Thailand and Indonesia. In addition to the technical centre in China which focuses on the evaluation of raw materials for tyres, in 2013, the company also set up its first technical centre in Thailand, responsible for the functions of Tyre Development, Production Technology, Quality Management, and Procurement.

 

Not forgetting the importance of nurturing talent, the company operates 2 training centres in China and Thailand, both specially dedicated to developing the technical knowledge and sales-related skills of Bridgestone employees, as well as its related business partners.
