Thai Bridgestone Encourages Nationwide University Students Towards Good Citizenship Jun 7, 2016

Saraburi (7th June 2016) – Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., organized “U-Camp Project” from 3rd - 5th June 2016 at Thai Bridgestone Nongkhae Plant. Students from 14 local universities attended the training activities with an aim to strengthen their leadership skills. Over 400,000 THB grant is supported by Thai Bridgestone for 4 social contribution projects of these students.

 

The training programs conducted by Thai Bridgestone’s lecturers are designed to enhance Thai youngsters’ conscious of being a responsible citizenship and develop a growth mind-set for sustainable development to live up Bridgestone’s mission “Serving Society with Superior Quality”.  The activities help them develop the skill sets of team building, strategic planning, creative thinking, communication and decision-making.

   

Moreover, the students had the opportunities to join Green Hands Special: Planting young plants and building a tree nursery which they could learn how to effectively contribute to society and conserve environment for sustainability.
