Voluntary Green Hands Special: Bringing 10,000 Young Plants Back to Forest

Saraburi (7th June 2016) – Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. organized a voluntary activity “Muen Ton Kla Kuen Puen Pa Hai Din”, which means “Bringing 10,000 young plants back to forest” on 5th June 2016 – the World Environment Day at Pukae Botanical Garden, Saraburi Province.
The event attracted teammates from Bridgestone Group Companies and their families, Bridgestone scholarship students and local community members to plant in total 10,000 young plants and a tree nursery. The rest 2,000 young plants will be planted for the 2nd upcoming Green Hands Special in October. The other 8,000 tree seeds will be distributed to local residents and community.
Green Hands Special Project is one of the Thai Bridgestone’s environmental activities held regularly every year with an aim to protect biodiversity and conserve the environment in order to achieve Bridgestone Group’s environmental mission of ensuring a healthy environment for current and future generations.
